1. Where do I obtain a burning permit?

If you live within the Elk River city limits, you can obtain a burning permit from the front desk at City Hall (13065 Orono Parkway). If you live outside of city limits, you can either contact a Fire Warden or purchase a permit online at the MN DNR website. Note: Elk River Fire does not conduct controlled burns.
