Park Info
18599 Gary Street - Home to a new destination playground, Orono Park is a family friendly 28-acre park located on the west shore of Lake Orono south of Highway 10.
The park is the hub of many civic amenities, including the City Hall Campus, the Library, the YMCA and the Sherburne County Fairgrounds.
City Council approved the updated Orono Park Master Plan on July 17, 2017. The revised park master plan recommended from the Parks and Recreation Commission highlights the park with reconfigured parking lots, expanded beach area, open recreation lawn, Kayak/SUP rental facility, larger splash pad, lighted pickleball and basketball courts and a fitness area. Staff will review the park features in the plan to develop an overall park capital improvement plan. View plan.
