Chair yoga, just like any yoga class is geared towards helping the mind and body slow down through breathing, movement, stretching, and relaxation. This class takes you through a mostly seated flow, with the exception of a few optional standing poses for balance. The seated portion will work through gentle repetitive movements to wake up all of your joints, muscles, and body parts. Class will end with seated meditation, and leave you feeling relaxed. No drop in's allowed.
Michelle Jerdin is a Certified Yoga Instructor who has been practicing yoga for 10 years and been teaching for over 7 years. Her favorite yoga style is Chair Yoga Flow and Kids Yoga.
