What is the City ordinance for signs (garage sale, graduation, etc)?

Review Section 30-859 (5) of the City Code for the ordinance regarding sign placement, dimensions, and other information. Signs are often an effective and important marketing tool to draw attention to a garage sale, graduation party, special event, or social function. Signs must be placed on private property and not in the right-of-way. The right-of-way is generally 10 feet from the curb into a yard. Signs cannot be placed on existing objects within a right-of-way, such as trees or light poles.
