1. What can I do if I forgot to set out my trash cart or set it out too late?

1. Residents may pay a "go back" fee of $25 and Republic will schedule a return once pre-payment has been processed by the Call Center (320.252.9608).
2. Residents may set out extra bags on the next service day instead of scheduling a "go back" service. Please note:
   1. Extra bag volume may not exceed the limits of the cart, lid closed.
   2. The Driver will empty the cart and then reload it with the extra bags and then empty the cart again.
   3. If the extra bag volume exceeds the limits of the cart, the excess bag(s) will be left at the site and the cart will be tagged.
   4. The 2023 extra bag rate is $3.25/bag. Residents should contact the Republic Call Center at 320.252.9608 to make pre-payment (which is required two days in advance of collection day to ensure service).
3. Republics Services will report any abuse of contracted services to ERMU and partner in resolving the concern.
