Thank you to those that came to the open house on Saturday, September 11! It was a great success! We had over 150 people come through the Senior Center and we heard so many positive comments. If you entered your name in a drawing to win a prize, winners will be announced shortly.
Our October newsletter will be out at the end of the month. Here is a quick preview of what you will find:
- Chair Yoga is back! It will take place every Tuesday at 8:30 am starting October 5. The class is instructed by Certified Yoga Instructor Sue Montague. Sue also teaches classes at Guardian Angels by the Lake, Pullman Place, and Azitala Yoga in Elk River. The fee is $5/class and you can pay the day of class.
- Trip to American Swedish Institute which will be decorated for the holiday season. The trip will take place on December 16 and the fee is $78.
- Watercolor Painting Class will take place on October 11 and you will paint a pumpkin patch. The fee is $18.
- Halloween Costume Contest and Bingo is scheduled for October 29. The fee is $5 and treats and prizes will be provided.
