We hope everyone is doing well!

It has been so nice to see so many of you joining us for programs and activities.  As more people are participating, our activities are filling fast and we usually have a wait list.  If you signed up for an activity and know that you are unable to attend, please call the office at 763.635.4500 to let us know so we can fill your spot from a waiting list.


Join us for:

Casual Use of the Senior Activity Center: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.


Come enjoy a morning get away to the beautiful new Senior Activity Center! Visit with others or bring a book to read by the fireplace or perhaps you have some writing or work you want to do in a warm, comfortable, and welcoming environment! Only select amenities are available during this time such as computer use, lending library, fireplace lounge, and tv viewing. Billiards, card and game playing, puzzles, or other activities that involve sharing of materials is not allowed during casual use of the Senior Activity Center. No drop in's will be allowed.  Please register at least 24 hours in advance of each session.


Line Dance: April 13 and 27 at 1:30 p.m.

Have fun and burn some calories by coming to this lively group.  All skill levels are welcome.  Please wear exercise attire because you will be moving in this class! No drop in's will be allowed.  Please register at least 24 hours in advance of each session. Masks are required to be worn during exercise classes.

Chair Yoga Flow: Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

Chair yoga, just like any yoga class is geared towards helping the mind and body slow down through breathing, movement, stretching, and relaxation.  This class takes you through a mostly seated flow, with the exception of a few optional standing poses for balance.  The seated portion will work through gentle repetitive movements to wake up all of your joints, muscles, and body parts.  Class will end with seated meditation, and leave you feeling relaxed. No drop in's will be allowed.  Please register at least 24 hours in advance of each session. Masks are required to be worn during exercise classes. Fee: $5 per class.
 
History Buffs: April 15 at 9:30 a.m.

Each month Mike Brubaker, Executive Director of the Sherburne History Center discusses a different topic.  This month he will talk about Natural Disasters in Minnesota. Register by April 14.

Feed a Healthy Brain: April 19 at 10:00 a.m.

Feeling forgetful? Take control of what you can do right now to feed your brain.  In this class you will learn how lifestyle changes can improve your brain health.  Register by April 15. Fee: $5
