Please join the City of Elk River in congratulating David Williams, for his recent recognition as Volunteer of the Month. Mayor John Dietz, who established this award program, selected David for his commitment to bettering the community.
David is the current chairman of both the Elk River Parks and Recreation Commission and the Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission, along with the president of the Elk River Quarterback Club. He is the founder and executive director of Elk River Flag Football, founder and chairman of the Elk River Youth Sports Commission, and he currently serves as an assistant coach for the ERHS football team. David is a member of the ISD 728 Facilities Usage Committee and was the chairman for the ‘Yes to Active Elk River’ Committee, among many other things.
