Sherburne Soil and Water Conservation District has teamed up with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture to provide residents with free early detection Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) training.
While EAB has not yet been detected in Sherburne County, it is present in almost every county surrounding us. Studying woodpecker activity is one of the leading early detection efforts to combat the spread of EAB.
This free event will take place at the Elk River Public Library on Wednesday, March 30 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. RSVP to fgerde@sherburneswcd.org by Friday, March 25.
