In late August, crews began an improvement project at Meadowvale Heights Park, and as of yesterday (Thursday, September 9) the north boardwalk has been removed, and the new trail is complete with base (packed gravel). Visitors to the park can use the new trail to access the park from the north off of 196th Avenue. In the next few weeks, crews will remove the south boardwalk and construct the trail with the same packed gravel as the north trail. Both trails will remain natural trails throughout the winter and be paved next summer.
