[ARCHIVED] **Reminder - Downtown Redevelopment Meeting Tonight, Virtual Option Now Available**

For those who’d like to participate in tonight’s meeting and are unable to do so in-person, click here to attend virtually via Zoom. A call in option is also available by dialing 312.626.6799 (Meeting ID: 875 3019 0629, Passcode: 489203).

We ask for your patience as we work through technology challenges at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center, and are pleased to be able to offer an additional avenue for residents to offer input on their vision for the future of downtown Elk River. If you encounter technical difficulties, your comments/questions can be directed to City Administrator, Cal Portner via email at cportner@ElkRiverMN.gov. Be sure to indicate in the subject line “Downtown Redevelopment Joint Meeting Comment” as well as your name and address in the body of the email.

On Monday, February 22, the City Council, Economic Development Authority and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority will host a joint town-hall-style meeting at 5:00 p.m. at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and offer input on their future vision for Downtown Elk River.

The city owns and controls parcels of land downtown which make up the King Ave Parking Lot. City leaders have heard proposals for redevelopment of this area. There are no plans currently, however your council and authorities are seeking community input for the vision of downtown Elk River.

No RSVP is required to provide your input on the future of Elk River’s popular downtown streetscape.
