Please join the City of Elk River in congratulating Tim Wick, for his recent recognition as Volunteer of the Month. Mayor John Dietz, who established this award program, selected Tim for his years of dedicated service to the community.
Wick has been an active member of the Elk River Police Reserves for more than 20 years and has been an integral force behind establishing volunteer policing efforts focusing on daytime neighborhood and park security with an emphasis on youth engagement.
Tim thoroughly enjoys spending his summers with the Police Reserves working with Elk River youth, as well as assisting with police programming in our elementary schools. Elk River Police Department Chief Ron Nierenhausen calls Tim’s personality and general demeanor the “epitome of officer-friendly.”
Thank you, Tim Wick, and congratulations!
