You may have heard the City of Elk River is in the midst of its 2020 Comprehensive Plan update, which serves as a 10-20-year roadmap for local elected officials to reference when making important decisions about development, transportation, parks and so much more.
Resident engagement throughout the process is vital in ensuring the plan reflects the vision, opportunities and future goals members of the community strive to achieve by calling Elk River home. The city will host a public open house on Thursday, October 28 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway. At the open house, hear from project leaders, get answers to questions or concerns you may have, and find out other ways to stay involved throughout the process.
