Sherburne County will begin improvements to County State Aid Highway 1 (Proctor Ave NW) on Tuesday, July 7 which will involve a full closure of both lanes in both directions from Highway 10 to the BNSF rail line located just south of School St. A detour route will be signed directing motorists to use County Road 44 (Upland Ave). The project involves a total reconstruction of the corridor with a raised concrete median and is expected to be complete by late August.
This project will improve traffic mobility in the area by creating designated a designated right turn lane, thru traffic lane, and left turn lane for motorists entering or crossing the Highway 10 corridor. For construction updates, visit Sherburne County’s project web page located here.
