[ARCHIVED] Act now to get your free recycling bin

Organics Recycling_Free_Bin_OfferThe City of Elk River is proud to offer a free, organics recycling drop-off program!

While supplies last, the City of Elk River is giving away a free recycling bin to new and existing customers.

To qualify for a free bin, new customers must sign up and deliver their first compost drop to one of the designated drop off locations (City Hall, or the Elk River Maintenance Facility). Current customers qualify and help us spread the word, by simply sharing your reason for recycling and a photo on the city’s Facebook page or via email to Elk River’s Environmental Coordinator, Amanda Bednar. Act now to get your choice of a countertop or 5-gallon bin before they run out!

What is Organics Recycling?
Utilizing food waste from your home, organics recycling converts material that is otherwise trash into compost which can be used for fertilizer. Reduce your trash and increase your recycling by participating. Click here to see how easy it is!
