The Minnesota Senate approved their Omnibus Tax Bill following the Minnesota House’s passing of their tax bill last week. The Omnibus Tax Bill Conference Committee convened on Friday, May 3. The committee will work to iron out the differences in the two bills over the next week before sending it back to the respective houses for final approval. The Active Elk River local option sales tax language is identical in both bills. The legislature is scheduled to adjourn on May 20.
