[ARCHIVED] Snow Event Continues in Elk River

Snow Plow During Snow Event
Although the snow has ended and our plow operators have been working tirelessly to get the roads clear, Public Works has made the decision to keep the Snow Event in effect through tomorrow (Saturday, February 9). Overnight street parking restrictions will remain in place between 2:00 and 6:00 a.m. to allow crews room to haul away snow piles that have accumulated throughout the week. Streets and Parks staff will be relocating excess snow in cul-de-sacs, along trails and sidewalks, and from roadway shoulders in an effort to make room for additional snowfall forecasted next week. Please be patient as it will take some time before all sidewalks and trails are fully accessible to the public. More information, including a map of designated overnight parking can be found here.

Stay warm and have a great weekend, Elk River!
