After nearly four years of community and council discussion, planning and design, the first of three phases in the city’s wayfinding program has come to fruition! Installation of a dozen new park signs began on January 9, and later this spring residents can look forward to fresh, new entrance monuments and informational kiosks around town.
Elk River’s wayfinding program is a comprehensive plan for all city signage to not only ensure consistency and continuity, but also to ease navigation for visitors and enhance experiences in our historical, recreational, and commercial areas.
