Elk River is one of more than 190 Minnesota cities that operate municipal liquor stores, offering a variety of regional, domestic, and imported beer, wine, and liquor. Revenue generated from Elk River’s two liquor stores (Northbound and Westbound) goes back into the community, helping to fund services like police and fire protection, street maintenance, and parks and recreation programs.
