Do you or someone you know travel between Big Lake and Clear Lake on Highway 10 regularly? This is news you can use!
Beginning tomorrow (Monday, June 4) segments of Highway 10 will be intermittently reduced to a single lane while crews conduct prep work for the upcoming reconstruction of eastbound Highway 10. In mid-July a major traffic pattern change will occur when the existing lanes of eastbound Highway 10 close, and single lane head-to-head traffic in both directions will be moved over to the westbound lanes. Commuters should expect narrow lanes, reduced speeds, and delays during the project which is expected to wrap up in October.
