Motorists who travel Highway 169 between Princeton and Pease will encounter road crews, heavy equipment, and delays while segments of the road are reduced to a single lane beginning Monday, May 21.
The lane closures will occur between County Road 29/Rum River Drive near Princeton, and County Road 12/80th Street south of Pease, from sunrise to sunset, Mondays through Fridays, while crews resurface 6 miles of the road. No lane closures will occur on northbound Highway 169 afternoon on Fridays.
The closures are needed while crews resurface the road. The work and lane closures will be complete by June 1; the schedule is weather dependent.
When complete, the project will provide a smoother ride and extend the life of the roadway.
