The Explore MnDOT showcase will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at MnDOT’s St. Cloud facility, 3725 12th St. N., located in the northwest quadrant of the Highway 15/12th Street North intersection near Apollo High School and the Veterans Center. The event will be held rain or shine.
Explore MnDOT is an event for the entire community that will showcase the tools, equipment, technology, jobs and career tracts that help MnDOT serve Minnesota motorists each day.
Explore MnDOT adventurers will discover 17 informational booths, displays of heavy equipment, tools, technology, current job openings and career information, and fun activities with a chance to earn prizes. There also will be networking and learning opportunities to ask questions of MnDOT staff and leaders who help engineer, design, build and maintain nearly every component of Minnesota’s transportation infrastructure.
Those curious enough to complete their own Explore MnDOT Road Map challenge will find a MnDOT water bottle or drawstring backpack (while supplies last), at the end of their journey.
Businesses interested in learning how to partner with MnDOT as a vendor or contractor will find information and an opportunity to connect with knowledgeable MnDOT staff.
Groups of 10 or more who are interested in attending are asked to contact Cathy Thompson at 218-828-5710 before May 18 to make parking arrangements.
