[ARCHIVED] Orono Beach Swimming Warning
Due to the heavy rainfall the testing of the water at Lake Orono Beach has resulted in high fecal coliform bacteria counts that could be hazardous if swallowed. Signs have been posted at the beach and we are asking that swimmers be aware of the risks.
The city will remove the warning signs when the water testing results return to normal levels.
