The lane closures, which began Thursday, July 7, will occur during non-rush hours from sunrise to sunset most days of the week while crews resurface the roadway.
Also, motorists traveling Highway 169 near ERX MotorPark should watch for slow or stopped traffic Saturday and Sunday, July 16–17, as heavy traffic and intermittent congestion are expected for the TORC Takedown off-road races. ERX MotorPark is located just north of the Highway 169/County Road 33 interchange.
All lane closures and work on Highway 169 between Elk River and Zimmerman will be complete by July 22.
When complete, the resurfacing project will result in a smoother ride and extended the life of the road.
