New Republic Service carts are being delivered
Republic Services will be exchanging brown Randy's garbage and recycling carts for new Republic Services blue carts. Garbage and recycling carts will be delivered the week of June 12 for gray recycling week customers and the week of June 19 for blue recycling week customers.
What to do with your Randy's brown carts
Have your Randy's garbage and recycling carts out by 6:00 a.m. on your service day. Once your Randy's carts are serviced, leave them curbside the remainder of the week until they are picked up.
When will I get my new Republic blue carts?
Carts will be delivered during your recycling week, they may be delivered before your service day. Once you receive your new carts, pull them in from the curb.
What size carts are being delivered?
You will receive the same size garbage and recycling carts as you currently have.
What will happen to the carts that are being removed?
All old carts will be recycled. The carts will be sent to a recycler/grinder, who will clean and re-pelletize it. This clean recycled material is then shipped to our cart manufacturer and metered into production with virgin resin and colorant blend to produce new carts.
What if I have walk up service?
Our Republic Service drivers will still walk down your carts on your service day and the new carts will be placed by your garbage.
Please be patient, cart delivery and removal will happen over the course of your recycling week. You may get a recycling cart before your trash cart or vice versa.
