On Wednesday night, July 20, both directions of Hwy 169 to switch from the south side onto the newly constructed north side at 197th Ave.
The switch will be completed by Thursday morning, July 21 and crews will start construction on the southbound side of Hwy 169.
Motorists should follow construction signs and be alert for changes in the work zone as everyone learns the new set-up.
Hwy 169 remains on-lane, each direction through the work zone, 24-7, until the 197th Ave. bridge and access connections are ready to open in late October. 197th Ave. remains closed west of Hwy 169 to Irving St./Holt St. and east of Hwy 169 to east of Evans St.
Hwy 10 closes four nights to construct bridge deck. Hwy 10 in Elk River will close in both directions at the Hwy 10/101/169 interchange so construction crews can work on the northbound Hwy 101/169 bridge over Hwy 10 each overnight as follows:
10 p.m. Thurs, July 21 to 5 a.m. Fri, July 22
10 p.m. Tues, July 26 to 5 a.m. Wed, July 27
10 p.m. Wed, July 27 to 5 a.m. Thurs, July 28
10 p.m. Wed, Aug 3 to 5 a.m. Thurs, Aug 4
* Like all construction work, the schedule is tentative and subject to change due to materials, contractor, or weather.
Detour Westbound Hwy 10 will detour to the Hwy 169/Sherburne Co. Rd. 33 interchange, then back to Hwy 10. Eastbound Hwy 10 will detour to the Hwy 101/Wright Co. Rd. 39/90th Ave. interchange, then back to Hwy 10.
