[ARCHIVED] Night to Unite

Night to UniteDue to circumstances out of our control and limited staff, the Elk River Police Department has decided to change things up for Night to Unite this year. Instead of visiting parties within the neighborhoods, we will meet with the public at three different parks throughout the city on August 2, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Orono Park, Lion John Weicht Park, and Trott Brook Farms Park will each have police officers, council members, firefighters, and members of other city departments to greet you, chat, and answer questions. Food or beverages will not be provided, but you are more than welcome to hold your own gatherings at one of the parks. Each park will have a CAER food collection box, scheduled visits from the Police Department MRAP, SWAT van, Bike Team members, and K9 Duke. There will also be Utilities vehicles, fire trucks, and kid’s activities.
You may still hold your party in your neighborhood as in the past the only difference is there will not be visits to each party from city employees. If you plan on doing this please make sure any street closure requests are approved ahead of time.
Any further questions can be directed to our Administrative Assistant, Lindsay via email at

7:00 - 7:45 - SWAT Van
