City of Elk River Addresses COVID-19 

The City of Elk River recognizes the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Minnesota Department of Health to protect staff, residents, and visitors to our city in every way possible from Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). 

As part of the ongoing effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, many city facilities and all park playgrounds are closed until further notice. Summer Activities Guide

2019 Summer Recreation Guide Opens in new windowElk River Parks and Recreation has teamed up with ISD 728 Community Education to get the word out about classes, sports leagues, and events in their upcoming Spring/Summer activity brochure. Parks and Recreation is thrilled to have the opportunity to engage with even more members of the community about the many city-sponsored programs available to the community. Students at Elk River Elementary schools will receive copies of the ISD 728 Community Ed Spring/Summer brochure the week of April 13.
