Adopt-a-Park Directory
The City of Elk River has dozens of parks and natural areas that attract visitors from all over the area. In addition to our hardworking Public Works staff, we rely on organizations and groups to help us in the general care and maintenance of these valuable outdoor amenities.
The Adopt-a-Park and Adopt-a-Stormwater Pond program is a fun, educational and worthwhile program that will provide businesses, service groups, and families the opportunity to show community pride and take ownership in the spaces that make Elk River beautiful.
We have many amazing organizations who have worked tirelessly to keep their adopted park/pond safe, clean and something to be proud of - but we have many spaces OPEN FOR ADOPTION for your consideration below.
Adopters receive a sign in their park indicating the name of the volunteer group. Volunteer hours must be tracked and reported to Parks and Recreation staff on the Adopt-a Park Volunteer Hours Tracking form.
To find out the location and amenities offered at parks/ponds currently open for adoption, visit the Elk River Park Directory by clicking here.
