Sherburne County is once again partnering with Elk River Parks and Recreation and Great River Regional Library to bring Summer Story Strolls to four different parks throughout the county. The series is part of the Great River Regional Library's Summer Reading Program for the Becker, Zimmerman, Big Lake and Elk River branches.
In Elk River, four different stories will be displayed on large panels at Woodland Trails Regional Park, rotating every two weeks:
I Went Walking (June 7 - 23)
Sheep in a Jeep (June 21 - July 5)
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (July 6 - July 20)
Walking Through the Jungle (July 21 - August 6)
Participants in the Summer Reading Program will receive a bookmark that can be stamped at each Story Stroll. Those who collect a stamp from each stroll on their bookmark will be eligible for a prize at the library!
Full details and other Story Strolls outside of Elk River can be found here.
