Food entrepreneur Frank Galli, thought up Diamond City Bread in 1996, specializing in authentic sourdough, baked fresh daily without any additives or preservatives, risen naturally overnight without the aid of yeast. The bakery has since sold, but Galli didn't go far geographically.

Located above Diamond City Bread on Jackson Avenue, Frank Galli took his love of food further than bread and pastries when he opened Pompeii Pizzeria in 2010.
