Arena Learn To Skate
Learn To Skate USA
The Elk River Arena is a great place to learn recreational, hockey, or figure skating. Our program is open to students age 4 years and above.

All classes include class time and practice time. Students will be evaluated the first few weeks of class and grouped by ability. Full class descriptions (including skills taught at each level) are available during online registration.
  • All children under 6 are required to wear helmets.
  • Helmets are strongly recommended for ages 6 and above.
  • Skates should fit properly.
  • No double blades.
  • No hockey sticks, pucks, or pads are needed.

Annual Ice Show

Our end-of-the-year extravaganza, featuring students from our Learn To Skate program as well as the talented members of the Elk River Figure Skating Club. The 2017 Ice Show will be May 19-20.  Participants must be enrolled in the Spring Learn to Skate Session (Feb 13 - April 17), Figure Skating Advancement or the Elk River Figure Skating Club. Registration closes March 6.
